31 July 2015 – The Philippine Consulate General in Osaka conducted its second consular outreach mission in Gifu Prefecture for 2015 at the Heartful Square G, 2F, Dai Kenshu Shitsu, 1-10-23 Hashimoto-Cho, Gifu City.
The Team processed a total of 120 passport applications and 46 notarial and other documentary services, 29 of which were released on the same day.
The Consulate General also received 126 overseas voter registration applications during the outreach mission and has surpassed the 10,000 mark. Last April 17, the Consulate General registered its 7,000th overseas voter and passed the target it set to achieve for this current registration period.
Consul Geronimo C. Suliguin, Jr. led the outreach activity held with the assistance of ASAPHIL chaired by Ms. Edna Ono.
A representative from the Home Development Mutual Fund of Pag-IBIG from Tokyo was also able to provide assistance to at least 26 Pag-IBIG members. END
