20 June 2014- The Laguna Association of Guam (LAG), headed by Acting President Peter Gacutan, co-organized with the Philippine Consulate General in Agana the celebration of the 153rdbirth anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal. The event was held at the official residence of Consul General Bayani V. Mangibin in the Jonestown area of Guam.
The morning celebration began with the raising of the flag and the singing of the national anthem. This was followed by a wreath-laying at the monument to the national hero by Consul General Mangibin, who was assisted by Mr. Gacutanand Mr. Roy Salvador Adonay, President of the Filipino Community of Guam.
