Inbound Travel Restrictions by Foreign Countries on PH

Pursuant to the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, please be guided by the following inbound travel restrictions imposed by various Foreign Countries on Travelers from the Philippines. 

Please note that this information is constantly changing and DFA will be updating the advisories accordingly. 

 

 

Country

Restriction

China

All individuals with a traveling or residence history within 14 days  in the list of 11 countries with special measures on epidemic prevention before entering Guangdong, regardless of nationality, are subject to quarantine at home or designated quarantine facility. The Philippines was included in the list of 11 countries with special measures on epidemic prevention.

Cook Islands

Travelers from virus-stricken countries, including the Philippines, within the past 14 days.

The restriction is subject to a weekly review.

India

Travel of passengers from PH to India is prohibited.

Palestine

The Palestinian Authority issued a circular listing the Philippines among 15 countries whose “nationals or visitors” will be subjected to a 14-day quarantine procedure upon arrival in Palestine. The PA has included the Philippines in the said list together with 14 other countries such as China, Macau, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Iran, Iraq, Malaysia, Taiwan, Syria, Italy, Japan, Thailand, and Lebanon

Qatar

Temporary travel restrictions on Doha-bound passengers who travelled to the 14 countries*, including the Philippines, in the last 14 Days beginning 09 March 2020. 

Saudi Arabia 

Travel ban imposed on countries including the Philippines (except Filipino health practitioners, newly-hired, and returning to employers; these will be subjected to a special medical evaluation). Suspension of Umrah visa and tourist visas to countries including the Philippines.

As of 16 March 2020, home quarantine for 14 days required for expats who arrived in KSA before returning to work.
