Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 31 August 2020)

Similar to yesterday figures, the DFA confirms no new COVID-19 fatalities among Filipinos abroad today, as well as 1 new confirmed case, and 3 new recoveries recorded in two countries in Asia and the Pacific. Meanwhile, 3 new cases were verified by DOH IHR today.

As we celebrate National Heroes’ Day today, the DFA honors those in the frontlines, whether in the country or abroad, including personnel in our FSPs and all Overseas Filipinos, whose tireless service to humanity amidst this pandemic make them modern-day heroes.
