Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 05 September 2020)

Today, the DFA records only 3 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Asia and the Pacific, 9 new recoveries in the same region and in the Americas, and 1 new death in the Middle East/Africa.

Compared to last week’s percentages, the total number of Filipinos who have recovered from COVID-19 increased to 62.12% of the total confirmed cases, while those who are under treatment saw a slight decrease to 30.39%. Meanwhile, the percentage of fatalities among COVID-19-affected Filipinos abroad saw a slight decrease to 7.5%.
