Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 06 September 2020)

Weekend reports from PH Embassies and Consulates record only one new confirmed COVID-19 case, no new recovery, and no new fatality among Filipinos abroad in the Asia and the Pacific region. No new reports were received from the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East.

As reported last night, the total number of OFs repatriated by the DFA since February 2020 is now at 164,368, of which 36.4% are sea-based and 63.6% are land-based.

In line with its ongoing repatriation efforts, the DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare.
