Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 12 September 2020)
Today, the DFA reports no new fatalities from COVID-19 among our nationals abroad. Overall, reports show an increase in the confirmed cases and the number of Filipinos who have recovered from the disease, with 13 new confirmed cases and 10 recoveries in the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, and Europe.
Compared to last week’s percentages, the total number of Filipinos who have recovered from COVID-19 increased slightly to 63.17% of the total confirmed cases, while those who are under treatment saw a decrease to 29.29%. Meanwhile, the percentage of fatalities among COVID-19-affected Filipinos abroad slightly rose to 7.54%.
