Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 13 September 2020)

Weekend reports from PH Embassies and Consulates record two new recoveries from COVID-19 in the Americas, no new confirmed case, and no new fatality among Filipinos abroad. No new reports were received from Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.

As reported last night, the total number of OFs repatriated by the DFA since February 2020 is now at over 174,000, of which 35.46% are sea-based and 64.54% are land-based.

In line with its ongoing repatriation efforts, the DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare.
