Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 16 September 2020)

Figures today show no new COVID-19 fatality, 16 new confirmed cases, and 13 new recoveries among Filipinos abroad. The DFA notes that the total numbers of confirmed and recovered cases have been adjusted based on an updated report received from a Foreign Service Post in Europe.

The total DOH IHR verified cases increased at 2,066, with 4 new cases reported today from Asia and the Pacific, and the Middle East. To date, the total number of countries and regions with confirmed cases among overseas Filipinos is now at 77, with a new report from an additional country in Africa.
