Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 20 September 2020)

Weekend reports from PH Embassies and Consulates record four new confirmed cases in Asia and the Pacific, no new recoveries, and no new fatalities from COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad. No reports were received from the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. Similarly, no new DOH IHR verified cases were recorded.

With over 185,000 OFs repatriated by the DFA since February 2020, the Department remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare, bringing them home, whenever possible.
