Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 21 September 2020)

Today, the DFA reports spikes both in the reported new confirmed COVID-19 cases and recoveries among Filipinos abroad, bringing the total number for each category to over 10,400 and over 6,600, respectively, in Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. Meanwhile, only 1 new fatality was recorded in the Middle East.

The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amid the pandemic.
