Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 28 September 2020)

Today, the DFA reports spikes both in the reported new confirmed COVID-19 cases and recoveries among Filipinos abroad, bringing the total number for each category to 10,467 and 6,676, respectively, in Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Meanwhile, only 1 new fatality was recorded in the Middle East. To date, there are already 2,132 verified cases by the DOH-IHR.

The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amid the pandemic.
