Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 02 October 2020)

Today, the DFA received only three reports from Asia and the Pacific and Africa recording no new fatalities, 4 new recoveries, and only 5 new COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad. To date, the total number of countries and regions with confirmed cases among Filipinos is now at 79, following receipt of a new report from a country in Africa.

The DFA personnel in our Foreign Service Posts remain steadfast in partnering with local health authorities and agencies to ensure Filipinos' awareness and adherence of preventive measures against the COVID-19 pandemic, and commit to tirelessly attending to the needs of our people affected by this pandemic, whenever possible.
