Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 08 October 2020)

Today, the DFA reports no new fatality due to COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad. Meanwhile, there are 12 new confirmed cases and 10 new recoveries among our nationals in Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East, bringing the total number of confirmed cases and recoveries across the main geographic regions to 10,861 and 6,916, respectively.

The DFA shall continue to keep track of the status of overseas Filipinos and stands ready to assist and facilitate repatriations, whenever possible.
