Public Advisory: Number of COVID-19 Cases Among Filipinos Abroad (As of 09 October 2020)

Similar to yesterday’s figures, the DFA reports no new fatalities from COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad today; 3 new confirmed cases and 4 new recoveries recorded in three countries in Asia and the Pacific, and Europe.

As the DFA personnel in our FSPs continue to actively monitor the status of the Filipino community abroad and work to safely repatriate our stranded nationals home, we remain optimistic that similar to reports from yesterday and today, more and more Filipinos will continue to recover from and overcome COVID-19.
