Botswana Ambassador Bids Farewell to DFA Chief of Protocol

MANILA 14 May 2025 – The Department of Foreign Affairs, through the Office of Protocol, hosted a farewell call by Major General Gotsileene Morake, Ambassador of the Republic of Botswana to the Republic of the Philippines (Non-Resident), on Assistant Secretary and Chief of Protocol Ariel Rodelas Peñaranda.

Ambassador Morake conveyed his appreciation for the courtesies and assistance extended by the Philippine Government throughout his tenure. Assistant Secretary Peñaranda, in turn, expressed best wishes to Ambassador Morake in his future endeavors and reaffirmed the Department’s commitment to maintaining cordial ties with the Botswana Embassy.

Ambassador Morake is based in Tokyo, Japan, and will formally conclude his tour of duty on 19 May 2025. END
