The Philippines is gravely concerned over DPRK’s latest nuclear test conducted on 09 September 2016, which was carried out in disregard of repeated warnings by the international community, and in flagrant violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions (1718, 1874, 2087, 2094, 2270). It is a troubling and unsettling act. We strongly reiterate our call on DPRK to comply with its international obligations under relevant UN Security Council resolutions and also call on DPRK to exercise restraint for the sake of peace and stability in the region.
