01 November 2016 — The Philippines and Korea successfully concluded the 6th Policy Consultation Meeting in Seoul, South Korea on 28 October 2016.
During the meeting, Undersecretary for Policy Enrique A. Manalo, Head of the Philippine Delegation, and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Sungnam Lim, Head of the Korean Delegation, discussed ways to strengthen and develop the Philippines-Korea bilateral relations in the context of multiple cooperation in trade and investments, security and defense, agricultural, consular, and people-to-people exchanges, among others.
The Philippines advocated further cooperation in rural development and agriculture in the Philippines, and other possible areas of support for Korean Official Development Assistance in the Philippines. END
