09 June 2017 KUWAIT – The Human Resource Management Office initiated its wellness program for Foreign Service Posts with the conduct of the Strategic Wellness Seminar and Debriefing Program at the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait from May 25 to 27.

The two-part program held at the Embassy is part of the continuing efforts of the Department to provide psychosocial support services to personnel on foreign assignment.

Counseling psychologist Ms. Ma. Teodora Dizon of Better Steps Psychology engaged with selected Embassy staff members through individual counseling focused on providing support for stress-related issues specific to the Post.

The program concluded with a one-and-a-half-day wellness seminar where officers and staff of the Embassy and partner agencies learned to identify workplace stressors, assess the impact of stress on work performance, and formulate effective coping strategies. END
