LAO Foreign Minister to Undertake Official Visit to Manila

12 July 2017 — Upon the invitation of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter S. Cayetano, Lao Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith will undertake an Official Visit to the Philippines on 13-14 July 2017.

The Foreign Minister’s Visit will commence following the Inaugural Philippines-Laos Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) Meeting. The Foreign Minister will head the Lao delegation. The two sides are expected to discuss various aspects of their bilateral relations and regional issues of mutual concern.

The visit also forms part of Foreign Minister Saleumxay’s round of visits to ASEAN capitals upon his assumption to office last year. END
