DFA Honors Retired Employees for 2017

22 August 2017 MANILA – The Human Resources Management Office (HRMO) led by Assistant Secretary Ezzedin H. Tago, organized a simple event on 11 August 2017, at the Manila Hotel, to honor the valuable contributions of 12 employees who retired or are retiring this year. In his inspirational message, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Jose Luis G. Montales conveyed his appreciation to the DFA retirees’ hard work, sacrifice, and years of dedication in serving the Filipino people here and abroad. He underscored that the latter’s efforts have immensely contributed to the professionalization of the Philippine foreign service. The event provided an excellent opportunity for the retirees to touch base with other men and women of the DFA who are now enjoying the fruits of their retirement.
