RCO La Union Celebrates its 1st Anniversary at Manna Mall

13 September 2017 - The Regional Consular Office-La Union celebrated its First Anniversary at Manna Mall last September 09 headed by Officer-in-Charge Estellita V. Casuga.
Vice Governor Aureau Q. Nisce, Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto, Regional Director Melchito M. Castro of the Office of Civil Defense, Mr. Joseph de Guzman representing Congressman Pablo C. Ortega and Ambassador Catalino R. Dilem, Jr. graced the occasion.
Officer-in-Charge Casuga also extended her gratitude to the management, officers and staff of the La Union Sky Mall (LUSM), headed by CEO Joey Tanyao, President Jayson Tanyao, Executive Vice President Conrado Agtani and Finance Manager Ms. Vina Tanyao
With more space and better facilities, RCO La Union’s services has become better and more convenient to the passport applicants. The officers and staff are also extending the RCO’s best office practices, working with professionalism, dedication and excellence.
In the message of Governor Francisco Emmanuel R. Ortega III which was read by Vice Gov. Nisce, he said that he remembered a year ago during the inauguration of this newly completed office with a special set up – a government office in the mall – a testament to the innovative public service delivery that he also sought to instill in his administration as Governor of the Province. He also thanked RCO La Union for its service and dedication to the people of the province, the region and the country
Mayor Gualberto, in the same view, stated that, “our kababayans are now delighted since this RCO transferred to Manna Mall. Besides having better facilities, schedules of passport applications become easier because of the online passport application and appointment system. I am sure these changes are rooted in an agency that truly cares for its clients. These are the changes that we want to adapt in the City government as well. Like DFA, the processes are defined in giving love and care for the people.” END
