26 October 2017 TEL AVIV — Thirty-Four (34) of 114 Filipino caregivers in Israel successfully passed the licensure examination which was held in Tel Aviv last September 02 to 03. The Professional Regulations Commission announced that 623 out of 1,572 passed the 2017 Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) Nurses given last September in the Middle East.
The licensure exam is in line with the Philippine Embassy’s reintegration program for Filipino overseas workers in Israel who are on five-year contracts as caregivers.
The SPLE hopes to provide opportunities for decent and sustainable work for returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in line with “Sa ‘Pinas Ikaw ang Ma’am at Sir” reintegration program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
