Hong Kong Trade Development Council Calls on Undersecretary for International Economic Relations Manuel A.J. Teehankee

29 November 2017 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) lead by Executive Director Ms. Margaret Fong called on Undersecretary for International Economic Relations Manuel A.J. Teehankee in Manila on November 29.

The HKTDC was established in 1966 and is a statutory body dedicated to promoting Hong Kong trade. The Council’s visit was made following the conclusion of the ASEAN-Hong Kong Free Trade Agreement signed on November 12 at the sidelines of the 31st ASEAN Summit in Manila.

During the meeting, the group discussed activities and opportunities to further enhance trade and investment cooperation between the Philippines and Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is among the top trading partners and one of the largest foreign investors in the Philippines. END
