DFA NCR North Celebrates its First Year Anniversary
13 December 2017 NOVALICHES — DFA NCR North celebrated its first anniversary with a glimpse of the last 12 months and thanksgiving of the key DFA and Robinsons officials who led the celebration. Mr. Irving Wu, Director for Operations for Central Luzon, Robinsons Land Corporation highlighted the swift 12 months and affirmed RLC’s continuing cooperation with DFA in bringing consular services closer to the public. He underlined that the partnership is even further strengthened with new DFA-RLC malls in the pipeline.
On behalf of OUCSCC Undersecretary Jose Luis G. Montales, Senior Special Assistant Alex V. Lamadrid conveyed the appreciation of the Undersecretary to all who worked behind the setting up of DFA NCR North and applauded the team who contributed to the steady growth of DFA NCR North which registered a 70.26% increase in transactions during the last twelve months and 93.29% growth in income. SSA Lamadrid lauded the effective public-private partnership between DFA and RLC and stressed that out of the 21 mall based consular offices, 14 are hosted by RLC, a testament to the strength of DFA-RLC partnership.
DFA NCR North reached 137,637 Filipinos from all walks of life primarily from Quezon City, Caloocan, Bulacan and other neighboring cities.
The event was attended by OCA Executive Director Angelina Escalona, Mr. Bayani Sibug, Head, Consular Office Coordinating Center (COCC). Also present from RLC side were Ms. Catherine Alejandro, Regional Manager, Ms. Tess Miranda, Special Projects Manager, Mr. Albert Borja III, Robinsons Novaliches Mall Manager, and Mr. Erwin Tulfo, as special guest from the media.
