Locsin, 47 Others Confirmed by Commission on Appointments

MANILA 28 November 2018 – The Commission on Appointments confirmed the ad interim appointment of Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. as Secretary of Foreign Affairs on 28 November 2018.

Also confirmed are the 47 ad interim appointments of other career officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Confirmed with the rank of Chief of Mission, Class I were Celia Anna M. Feria and Maria Fe T. Pangilinan, while confirmed as Chief of Mission, Class II were Marshall Louis M. Alferez, Elmer G. Cato, Giovanni E. Palec, and Mr. Ezzedin H. Tago.

Those who were confirmed as Career Ministers were Christopher Patrick T. Aro, Raul H. Dado, Maria Anna Lilia L. De Vera, Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga, Jesus Enrique G. Garcia II, Melchor P. Lalunio Jr. and Voltaire Onesimo Dela Cruz Mauricio.

Confirmed as Foreign Service Officers, Class I were Winston Dean S. Almeda, Gabriel R. Bautista, Dennis John C. Briones, Ma. Carmela Teresa A. Cabreira, Aian A. Caringal, Ryan Francis D.
