DFA Mindanao, CO Davao Celebrate 15th Women with Disabilities Day
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Mindanao and its Consular Office in Davao, led by Assistant Secretary Uriel Norman R. Garibay (4th from right, standing), celebrate 15th Women with Disabilites Day, with the theme “Sabay-sabay, Pantay-pantay sa Pag-unlad ng mga Kababaihang May Kapansanan, #Walang Iwanan” on 25 March 2019.
“Women’s freedom was not gained overnight, it was fought hard and was a result of the many struggles of our forebears to give equal rights to Filipino women, all women should be empowered and to take every opportunity to promote positive attitude, be a role model and enhance their welfare to enable them to realize their full potential” Assistant Secretary Garibay said in his speech.
