DFA Mindanao Celebrates 25th BIMP-EAGA Anniversary
In partnership with the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDa), the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Mindanao celebrated the 25th Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Anniversary at the Ritz Hotel Davao on 01 April 2019.
DFA Mindanao Assistant Secretary Uriel Norman R. Garibay gave an overview of DFA Mindanao’s history and the Department’s economic diplomacy mandate in Mindanao, which focuses on the promotion of BIMP-EAGA, and reiterated DFA Mindanao’s support and cooperation to MinDA’s initiatives and collaboration with concerned agencies.
