DFA Receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification

PHOTO: Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. formally receives the ISO 9001:2015 certificate from TÜV Rheinland Philippines Managing Director Tristan Arwen Loveres on 03 May 2019 at the DFA’s Bulwagang Apolinario Mabini.

The DFA was awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for successfully passing the second follow-up audit held last December 2018, which signifies the DFA’s compliance with and commitment to a Quality Management System (QMS).

In 2018, the scope of the DFA’s QMS expanded from the initial regular passport and authentication services of the Office of Consular Affairs and DFA Consular Office NCR-West to include the diplomatic and official passports, visa and the assistance-to-nationals service for walk-in clients at the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs.
