DFA La Union Joins in Q2 National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2019
PHOTO: The Department of Foreign Affairs Consular Office (DFA CO) in La Union, together with its passport applicants for the day, joined the second quarter 2019 National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on 20 June 2019 at Consular Office (CO) La Union in Manna Mall.
CO La Union Information Officer Christian Kelvin C. Gonzales encouraged everyone to actively participate in the exercise and underscored the importance of conducting an earthquake drill, which can be applied wherever they maybe. Passport Officer Victor Mitchel M. Zambrano and CO La Union officers and staff simultaneously demonstrated to the applicants the DUCK, COVER and HOLD maneuver.
Administrative Officer John Dick B. Ayco and Information Officer Gonzales expressed their gratitude to all participants, including the seven members of the Philippine National Police and the three personnel from the Philippine Red Cross of San Fernando City, La Union, for their support and cooperation that contributed to the successful conduct of the earthquake drill.
