PH Joins ACD High-Level Working Group Meetings in Bangkok

PHOTO: Officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) took part in a special Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) High-Level Working Group Meeting held in Bangkok on 18 to 19 July 2019.

DFA Office of the Undersecretary for International Economic Relations Acting Senior Special Assistant Eric Gerardo E. Tamayo of the represented the Philippines in the ACD meeting, which discussed the guidelines on the selection process for the Secretary General of the ACD, as well as the organizational structure of the Dialogue to be submitted to the Senior Officials and Ministers of ACD members for their consideration and adoption.

The ACD is an international dialogue platform among 35 member states across the Asian region. Formed in 2002, it aims to promote continent-wide cooperation across key economic areas of interest. The Philippines is a founding member of the ACD and has actively supported its events in the Philippines and overseas. (ACD Secretariat photo)
