DFA Consular Office in General Santos Participates in Regional Migrant Fair

GENERAL SANTOS 23 October 2019 – As a member of Inter-Agency Committee on the Celebration of Month of Overseas Filipinos (IAC-MOF), the DFA Consular Office (CO) in General Santos participated in the MOF Regional Migrant Fair held on 16 October 2019 at South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center in Koronadal City.

CO General Santos representatives Jennifer G. Fernandez and Grecille Ann F. Griengo participated in the celebration by showcasing the Department’s services for Overseas Filipinos and their families.

The fair with the theme, “OFs Ngayon, Balik-Pinas Bukas”, is the kick-off activity for the 2019 MOF celebration, which seeks to recognize overseas Filipinos’ hard work and efforts, and their valuable contribution to national development.  

The event also included free medical check-up for the participants, health and wellness activities, consultation sessions with migrant-serving agencies, and a showcase of products of successful overseas Filipino Workers returnees. END
