DASMARIÑAS CITY 04 November 2019 – To answer the demands of the Filipino public for better, faster, and more efficient consular services, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) opened its Consular Office (CO) at SM Dasmariñas in Cavite today, 04 November 2019.

CO Dasmariñas, the newest addition to DFA’s roster of consular offices, is the 35th site to be opened nationwide and is one of the eight consular offices opened in partnership with SM Supermalls.

The inauguration was led by Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Concerns Atty. Brigido J. Dulay and participated in by DFA officials and staff, SM Mall Partners, and officials from the local government of Cavite.

CO Dasmariñas would serve the people in the Province of Cavite and help with managing the volume of applicants in the existing consular offices in Metro Manila.

CO Dasmariñas is already accepting passport applicants through its online appointment system (https://www.passport.gov.ph/) and is open to serve the public Mondays through Saturdays (except holidays), from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The schedule of DFA Consular Offices may be subjected to changes depending on circumstances. Please check the DFA website or social media accounts for official announcements.
