Secretary Locsin Receives Nigerian Ambassador

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. received Nigerian Ambassador to the Philippines H.E. Adekunbi Abibat Sonaike-Ayodeji in a farewell call held at the Department of Foreign Affairs on 22 January 2020.

Secretary Locsin commended Ambassador Sonaike-Ayodeji for her contributions to strengthening bilateral relations between the Republic of the Philippines and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, particularly in working on the convening of the 3rd Philippines-Nigeria Joint Commission Meeting in Manila on 15 August 2018, wherein both sides committed to strengthen cooperation in various fields, such as increasing trade and investment, combating terrorism and drugs, among others.
