PH and EU Hold First Joint Committee Meeting

The two sides held detailed discussions on various issues involving PH-EU relations, including activities in certain areas of cooperation.

The Philippine delegation consisted of various agencies including the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Agriculture (DA), Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP), Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).

The EU side involved representatives of the European External Action Service (EEAS) and various arms of the European Commission with observers from EU member-states.
