DFA Consular Office in General Santos Conducts Second Cycle of Information Campaign, ATN Services

GENERAL SANTOS 14 February 2020 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office (CO) in General Santos City successfully conducted its second cycle of Information Campaign on the DFA’s Consular, as well as Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) services at the Barangay Hall of Lagao in General Santos City on 10 February 2020.
The said activities are extension of the Consular’s project in the third quarter of 2019. The topics that was discussed highlighted the passport issuance (requirements and online appointment); civil registry of vital events which took place abroad; apostillization/authentication; and Assistance-to-Nationals (illegal fishing, repatriation, and role of the Consular in disseminating information to deter illegal recruitment and human trafficking).
The program, which was attended by 31 purok leaders and ten barangay officials and staff, was the second installment of the series of the Consular’s information campaign. END
