Secretary Locsin Visits PH Embassy, POLO in Oman

MUSCAT 26 February 2020 - Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. visited today the Philippine Embassy in Muscat, as well as the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) - Muscat.

Philippine Ambassador Narciso T. Castañeda gave a tour of the chancery and introduced the personnel of the Philippine Embassy. Secretary Locsin thanked the officers and personnel of the embassy for their excellent service.

Meanwhile, Labor Attaché Gregorio Abalos, Jr. and POLO personnel welcomed the Secretary to POLO-Muscat, which is located adjacent to the Embassy.

During his visit, Secretary Locsin checked on the conditions of the Filipinos staying in the halfway shelter and gave out cash gifts to them.

The said visit was the last stop of the three-day Official Visit of Secretary Locsin to the Sultanate of Oman. END
