303 Distressed OFWs Repatriated from Kuwait

PASAY CITY 04 April 2020 - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) welcomed yesterday 303 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) who were repatriated from Kuwait.

The chartered flight that brought the repatriates home landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at around 11:50 p.m.

Upon disembarkation, the repatriates filled out health declaration forms and information sheets in accordance with standard protocols of the Bureau of Quarantine. After this, they were brought to a halfway home of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, where they will stay for the duration of the quarantine period.

The DFA and its partner agencies continue to adhere to the whole-of-government approach in providing assistance to OFWs all over the world. END (Photos by DFA-OUMWA).
