Philippines Receives Face Masks and Thermal Scanners from Manila’s sister-city, Guangzhou

As part of the sister-city arrangement between Guangzhou and Manila, the Philippines received a donation from the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government of China for the City Government of Manila.

The donation included 200,000 N95 masks, 100,000 surgical masks, and 2,000 thermal scanners from the Municipal Government of Guangzhou.

The donation was turned over to the City Government of Manila on 25 March 2020.

The sister-city arrangement between the two cities has been in place since 1982. END
