DFA Caps Off Monday’s Repatriations; Welcomes Home 60 Filipinos from New Zealand

PASAY CITY 21 April 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) continues its repatriation efforts from all over the globe by welcoming home 60 Overseas Filipinos Workers from New Zealand on 20 April 2020.

The Philippine Airlines flight that brought the repatriates home landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at around 9:34 P.M.

The repatriates underwent health screening upon arrival as required by the Department of Health. They would likewise be required to undergo the mandatory 14-day quarantine in accordance with the protocols set by the Bureau of Quarantine. This is in line with the government's thrust of facilitating the safe return of our Overseas Filipinos while protecting public health.

The DFA, together with its Philippine embassies and consulates, continues to work with the various national agencies in assisting our Filipinos around the world in the midst of COVID-19 crisis. END
