DFA Consular Office in Butuan Celebrates 12th Anniversary
BUTUAN 27 May 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs Consular Office in Butuan celebrated its 12 years of public service on 21 May 2020.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Consular Office, headed by the Officer-in-Charge Rhodarora G. Zaportiza-Corvera, has been open and working throughout the period.
To give light to the current situation the country is facing, the Consular Office offered cupcake giveaways and refrigerator magnets to its applicants and clients as a reminder that no matter how difficult the situation may be, the Consular Office is prepared and ready to assist and provide its services to the people.
The Consular Office was established on 21 May 2008 at Montilla Boulevard of Butuan City. Later on, it was transferred to Robinsons Place-Butuan, in partnership with Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC). END
