DFA Repatriates 183 Filipinos from Phuket, Thailand

PHOTO: A total of 183 Filipinos from Phuket, Thailand, including three infants, are arriving home today, 29 June 2020 aboard a Philippine Government repatriation flight funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and facilitated by the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. Two cremated remains of OFWs are also returning home on the flight. Many of the Filipino repatriates used to work in hotels, resorts and restaurants in the Kingdom's southern tourism center that has been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
