DFA Consular Office in Tagum Conducts 5S Awareness Virtual Re-Echo Session

TAGUM 02 October 2020 – To promote integrity, commitment, and good organization in the office, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office (CO) in Tagum City conducted a virtual re-echo session on 5S Awareness for its personnel via Google Meet on September 24, 2020.  

The Consular Office’s 5S Coordinator Genelyn B. Bales explained the principles of 5S such as the Sort (Seiri), Set in Order (Seiton), Shine (Seiso), Standardize (Seiketsu), and Sustain (Shitsuke) to employ more productivity at work with a better, cleaner, and more efficient system. All personnel were encouraged to apply 5S in their respective work areas. 

Ms. Bales attended the “5S Awareness Training for 5S Coordinators” last 26 August 2020 via Google Meet facilitated by the DFA’s 5S Committee, headed by Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Administration J. Eduardo Malaya and Chairperson André Peter C. Estanislao. END
