Philippines, Colombia Discuss Peacebuilding, People-To-People Exchanges, Security Cooperation

PASAY CITY 06 May 2021 – Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Brigido J. Dulay received Colombian Ambassador to the Philippines Marcela Ordonez on 04 May 2021 at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), where they discussed various areas of mutual interest and cooperation between the Philippines and Colombia.

As the two countries celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations this year, both sides agreed to learn from each other’s peacebuilding experiences, boost people-to-people and tourism exchanges, as well as further cooperation in security and law enforcement through capacity-building and training. END
