Israeli Ambassador Pays Courtesy Call on DFA Undersecretary Dulay

PASAY CITY 10 November 2021 – Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Brigido J. Dulay received the new Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss at the DFA headquarters in Pasay City on 04 November 2021.

Undersecretary Dulay congratulated Ambassador Fluss on his second tour of duty in the Philippines. Ambassador Fluss had earlier served as Deputy Chief of Mission from 1995-1998.

Undersecretary Dulay and Ambassador Fluss discussed key issues including cooperation in labor, tourism, defense, and consular matters, as well as regional and multilateral developments.

Undersecretary Dulay conveyed his appreciation for the COVID-19 assistance provided by Israel to the Philippines, including the donation of medical supplies and educational equipment, the visit of two health delegations from Israel, and the vaccination of the Filipino community in Israel.
