Secretary Locsin receives new Israeli Ambassador

PASAY CITY 21 February 2022 - Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. received Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss in a courtesy call on 11 February 2021 at the Department of Foreign Affairs.

During the call, the two reaffirmed their commitment to further enhance Philippines-Israeli relations. They discussed COVID-19 and disaster response, defense, labor, economy, innovation and tourism matters, and regional issues.

Secretary Locsin thanked Ambassador Fluss for Israel’s donation of medical supplies and education equipment, and for sending two delegations from the Israeli Ministry of Health (MOH) in 2021. The Secretary also thanked Israel for its donation of food supplies and essential equipment to several communities adversely affected by Typhoon “Odette.” END
