Australian Ambassador Robinson AO Pays Farewell Calls on Undersecretary Lazaro

PASAY CITY 27 June 2022 – Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Steven Robinson AO paid his farewell call on Acting Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations and ASEAN Affairs Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro on 27 June 2022. The Ambassador concludes his tour of duty next month, highlighted by, among other significant events, the successful commemoration of the 75^th anniversary of Philippines-Australia diplomatic relations in 2021.

The two sides discussed the robust state of bilateral relations from trade and investment to defense and people-to-people ties. They also discussed the anticipated Strategic Partnership between the Philippines and Australia. The Undersecretary expressed her appreciation to Ambassador Robinson for his contributions and tireless efforts in strengthening the cooperation and friendship between the two countries. END
