Philippines, Japan Sign Agreement on Scholarship Grant for Civil Servants

PASAY CITY 16 September 2022 – Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo and Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koshikawa Kazuhiko signed today the Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) valued at approximately USD 2.19 million. 

The JDS grant is Japan’s long-standing scholarship program that supports two-year Master's courses at prominent Japanese universities for young officials in the Philippine civil service. The program has benefited 419 scholars since 2002. END
