Secretary Manalo, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Talk Labor Relations, Trade and Investment, Tourism, Agriculture Cooperation

NEW YORK 22 September 2022 - Secretary for Foreign Enrique A. Manalo met with with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation from the United Arab Emirates, on the sidelines of the 77th United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.

The Ministers discussed new and existing areas of cooperation including labor relations, trade and investment, tourism, and agriculture.

Secretary Manalo expressed appreciation to the UAE government for its efforts to improve the living and working conditions of Filipinos in the UAE. 

Secretary Susan Ople of the Department of Migrant Workers was also present in the meeting. END
