Philippines, United Kingdom Hold 10th High Level Political Talks

MANILA, 29 November 2022 – The 10the High Level Political Talks between the Philippines and the United Kingdom were successfully concluded at the Manila Diamond Hotel on 29 November 2022. The Philippine delegation was headed by DFA Assistant Secretary for European Affairs Jaime Victor B. Ledda, while UK Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office Director Indo-Pacific (Southeast Asia and Pacific) Joelle Jenny led the UK delegation.

Both countries expressed satisfaction over their continuing collaboration in various fora and noted their governments’ willingness to work together to face the challenges ahead.

The delegations briefed each other on the latest political developments in their respective countries, as well as each government’s perspectives on strategic regional and international events taking place in the global stage and how these events affect the regional environment, particularly in Asia and Europe.
